Yes, they were in full costume yesterday at the Sussex County Fairgrounds here in NJ! My daughter, as part of her 4H program, got to dress up her baby Cria and flaunt her stuff around the ring to the breeders and spectators who came to the fairgrounds to watch the spectacle. She wasn't the only one-there was
the Mad Hatter,
Harry Potter and
Spider Man, among others! The alpacas came, courtesy of Hidden Pastures Alpaca Farm in Branchville, NJ. It was a fun day of judging and ribbons won and we came home exhausted! For this fiber-lover, it was bliss to be surrounded by this!!
